Frequently asked questions

Why use KeepArt instead of buying a regular photo book?

Life's already a whirlwind, so why not let us make this part a breeze?

When you choose KeepArt, all you've got to do is pick the artwork you want to preserve. We do all the rest. We take it from there, handling all the nitty-gritty details and then some!

We'll send you a KeepArt mailer that's got everything you need, including a pre-paid address label. Just pop your chosen artwork in there and send it our way.

Once we've got your art, we'll take professional photos, and if it enhances the design, we'll use colour backgrounds free of charge. Then, we get to work editing those pics—tweaking colours, smoothing and making them shine, so your art looks its absolute best.

Our creative studio will design your custom art book, and we'll deliver it right to your doorstep.

Can I send in multiple pieces of art and ask for them to be designed onto the same page?

We photograph each piece individually and design one piece per page. If you purchase a 20 page book please send in 20 pieces of art for example.

Collages are considered one piece of art. So if you’d like multiple pieces of art on one page, please create a collage of the art before you sent it to us.

How big is the KeepArt mailer?

Our bubble wrapped mailers are 36cm x 47cm which comfortably fits A3 art and craft.

We try our best to protect your artwork but we can't take responsibility if any art or craft ends up broken or damaged during the journey to our head quarters.

What should I do if I lose my KeepArt mailer?

Drop us a line at info@keepart.com.au if you’ve lost or damaged your KeepArt mailer. Please include your order confirmation email and we’ll arrange a replacement for you.

Is there a deadline for returning the KeepArt mailer?

You have up to one year from your purchase date to send us your art.

What happens to my artwork after its been photographed?

You can choose to have your art returned to you after we've photographed it. Simply purchase 'art return' when ordering your art book or wall art.

If you don't choose for your art to be returned it will be recycled.

Can I choose the order my art is printed in?

If you’d like your art to be printed in a particular order please let us know on the confirmation order form that’s included in your mailer.

We’ll then photograph your art in the order we receive it (top to bottom).

Can I send in craft too?

Mother’s Day cards, Easter chicks, craft creations - we love them! If your arts and craft fit into our bubble wrap mailer and is unlikely to get damaged during transit, we'd be more than happy to photograph it for you. Our bubble wrapped mailers are 36cm x 47cm which comfortably fits A3 art and craft.

We try our best to protect your artwork but we can't take responsibility if any art or craft ends up broken or damaged during the journey to our head quarters.

Does my art and craft all have to be the same size?

Art and craft can be any size as long as it fits into our 36cm x 47cm (roughly A3) KeepArt mailer. Our creative studio can re-size images during design if needed.

If you have artwork that is larger than our KeepArt mailer please email us at info@keepart.com.au

How do I customise the title of my art book?

Simply fill out the relevant section on the confirmation order form we include in the artwork mailer. Give us your desired title, and we'll print it on the cover.

Can I have more than one piece of art on a page?

We photograph one piece of art per page, so if you'd like multiple small pieces of art on the same page, please create a collage before sending to us.

Do you ship internationally?

For the final art book or wall art - yes!

If you'd like your art book or wall art shipped to an international delivery address please email customer service on info@keepart.com.au with your order confirmation number and your intended final delivery address.

For the KeepArt mailer currently we only accept artwork from within Australia.

Do you have any tips for packing my art and craft?

Top tip #1:

If you want to make sure your art and craft stays in a particular order, fold the confirmation order form around the artwork and secure it with string or binder clips. Don’t use rubber bands as they tend to tear the artwork.

Top tip #2:

If the artwork is fragile, consider using additional bubble wrap to add an extra layer of protection in the mailer and between pieces.

Top tip #3:

Bubble wrapping (or a plastic bag) is fab for glitter artwork too, those pesky pieces get everywhere and although we love sparkle you might not want it on every page of your art book or wall art.
